Even with a shifting sock, the surround-grip on the Tiger Toes assures that he always has some gripping contact with the floor. It is so much safer and easier for him now. Sometimes she slips on the hardwood and we couldn't risk her ripping her stitches. These are perfect! They have great grip even if they get dusty or dirty. I love that the grips are on top and bottom because if they shift sideways on the paw it is doesn't lose its grip. They stay on very well. They haven't slipped off once. I would like to note that they are kind of difficult to put on and take off but if they were easy you would probably have the issue of them slipping off. If it's raining or muddy outside you will have to remove them because it is actual sock material. It is very important that you measure your pets paw and follow the sizing guide or they will not work the way they should.
