I used this Sanniti chestnut flour to make a delicious castagnaccio for Thanksgiving. Everybody liked it very much. I can say I have seen no issue with the package (no leaks) and the flour is first quality. The price is definitely not cheap but given the low shipping volumes and the quality of the imported flour, a high cost is somehow understandable. This time it was shipped inside of a small cardboard box and the flour spilled out inside of the bag. Somehow the glassine bag, the original bag from the Italian mill? is not strong enough to keep the flour inside. Not sure if it ripped or if the seal isn't good, however no returns are accepted on this item.
