Burgon & Ball Kneelo Garden Kneeler, 52 cm x 30.5 cm x 6 cm Size, Navy

I bought this kneeler for a canine massage therapy course (random I know). As the dogs are on the floor, you spend a lot of time either kneeling or sat down and the course instructor recommended bring a comfortable cushion or pad. The Kneelo Kneeler is unbelievbly comfy to use both as a cushion and for kneeling. The neoprene covering is well stitched and good quality and the fact the pad is memory foam is also a nice touch. The design with integrated handle is also great and would be very beneficial for the elderly and the young alike. The only downside is that when using it as a seat, with it being memory foam, it can get warm quite quickly. Sometimes I use the cushion for lumbar support on my desk chair and after about 30-40 mins it is very warm! Overall, a great product and fantastic quality! Highly Recommended!

This is definitely an improvement over the cheaper foam mats, but the only downside is that the material isn't remotely water or abrasion resistant, so we use it on top of a plastic bag to stop it getting wet and filthy. Don't let that put you off, though, as the comfort overrides that minor issue.

I originally saw the Burgon & Ball GKN/GOO Memory Foam Garden Kneelo at a garden centre but I didn’t want to buy it there and then as it would have spoilt the surprise for my Mum, (I wanted to replace as the ones we’d got as they’d seen better days and were falling apart). Inside the Kneelo lies a deep layer of shock absorbing EVA foam and a cushioning layer of memory foam. You’ll find that it’s encased in waterproof, durable neoprene with a quick dry, wipe clean and nylon coating. Mum thinks this is by far the most comfortable kneeler she’s come across. I’ve also used this and I completely agree with her. During late Summer, I was out gardening, I was kneeling on this and none of the dampness came through, (with others we’ve used in the past the slightest bit of water that got on them and they ended up being wet through). Mum is really pleased with this as she has arthritis and finds the kneeler comfortable to use, so with the performance it’s given both of us I ca highly recommend it.

I haven't used it yet but I can tell it is of good comfortable quality. I cannot wait to use it when the weather is better. Just what I wanted.

Many good reviews, but now I've received mine I can't imagine how I could use it successfully in the garden. I expected that the base would be some kind of hard plastic to protect the soft upper section. Unfortunately, the pad is soft top and bottom and covered in the same material. My garden is often wet, dirty, stoney - and, from experience, basically not a place where this product would last very long. I'd be covering it in 'plastic' to protect it all the time, which defeats the object. I've experience of this type of 'waterproof' material before and thus my hesitation... I know the dirt/moisture/soil combination will absorb right in and be very difficult to remove. I think there would be a fair degree of 'ripping' going on as well when the material catches on stones, twigs, etc. Unfortunately, based on the design, I feel it only sensible to restrict its use to indoors. Too expensive to throw away after garden use.
