My granddaughter chose this bed from looking at the photos. She preferred a design with an open end rather than a foot board. It was a good choice because the appearance is very nice. The engineering is great. It was easy to put together, all the parts are numbered and the bolts are all lettered. Assembly takes some time, if you like to do things right the first time. Included tools are adequate for assembly, although we also used my personal tools to speed up the project. The box had some damage in four places when it arrived, but there were no dings or scratches on the bed. It is sturdy with no squeaks or noises at all. The bottom of the mattress is recessed lower than the side and end rails so it will not slide off the platform. The photo shown is the bed with a 12" mattress and the overall height is about 24" above the floor,

Such a beautiful bed. Took us about an hour to put together. The only hard part was the support bars across the frame don’t lock in perfectly but the bed is still pretty supportive. Plus great for the price.

Pretty and sturdy. I persuaded my teen granddaughter and her friend to assemble it, so it must have been easy to put together. Just be careful because it's easy to smack a toe on the middle floor bar when changing sheets.

Bed is cute and sturdy. Lots of pieces, some not labeled. It wasn't difficult,just frustrating. Lots of lining up several pieces. I found a spindle out of its hole after bed was completed. Lots of different screws and 3 Allen wrenches. My hands had blisters and ached after cranking down on all the screws. Bolts were touchy & had to be lined up just right. Quality is good, but not perfect. This bed was extremely well priced, so flaws can be easily overlooked

Beautiful. Perfect size for room. Did take a couple of people a while to put together, but worth it. Sturdy.

Purchased it for my mom. I do not recommend if you do not have patience to build. This came in many many pieces and it took 2 to build. It's not difficult if you read the instructions properly. My issue was that the bed arrived with a damage and one of the pre-cut holes was not open. We were too invested and halfway done when we noticed these issues, otherwise probably would have returned it. But in the end it did look nice. See attached photos.

I'm 73 and had to stretch this project out to 2 days, lots of parts, it was relatively easy to assemble, instructions are easy to follow, all parts are packed in plastic like new batteries, didn't cut any fingers though, the only place I panicked a little was the last step when I had to slide the top and bottom section together, it was tight, but, a gentle hammering got it in. I was happy with myself. Very sturdy, great quality also. Box arrived perfect and on time.

This is such a cute bed! Sturdy and easy to assemble. The slats were the most difficult portion but once I got the hang of it that part was fine.
