**Q: is this silicone FDA approved material?**
A: You will need to ask the manufacturer that question.  It is bpa free and food safe.

**Q: Is this made of more rigid nylon or soft silicone?**
A: It's made of silicone but it's firm, not flexible - think of it as if there is some solid material that makes up the spoon head and it's dipped and coated in silicone so it doesn't damage your nonstick pans - I use these spoons for everything and even drilled a hole in the top of the handle and filed it down so I could hang them up!

**Q: It looks black, but other matching products are midnight blue. WHat is its real color?**
A: It is black in my opinion.  I have blue as well but it is a bright blue.  You can tell the difference.  Hope thus helps. And I love my utensils!

**Q: Is it black or dark gray**
A: The Charcoal is a dark gray.
