Stellar Product with an Extra Bonus!!
Following the directions exactly and it went on, this screen protector is awesome sauce. Extra bonus not related to the Apple Pencil is that now swiping and finger gestures glide across the screen…pretty cool. Highly recommend, just slow down and follow simple directions and it will apply perfectly.

Updated -- installation tip
My original review is below. I had a hard time with installation due to dust and air bubbles. I complained that there was no tool included to remove air bubbles, so when I was trying to eliminate them by pressing them out with my fingers, the sticky side of the protector was exposed to the air too long and I ended up getting a lot of dust particles. Paperlike read my review and sent me a replacement protector and also advised me to use something like a credit card to press out the bubbles. And they explained that they do not include a tool in order to reduce waste since most people will have a card / ID of some sort. I totally support this. I used a card to install the replacement screen and it worked like a charm. The protector is perfect now. I'm not sure why my first one was scuffing, but so far I'm not seeing that problem with the replacement.---Original review:The first screen I installed had so many bubbles in it and seemed to draw in lint from the environment, had to discard. I install screen protectors regularly. With these, you have to lay them down really fast or you end up with lint. But installing fast means you don't have the opportunity to press or the air bubbles and no tool is provided for this purpose. I installed the 2nd screen more to my satisfaction but I'm finding that it scuffs easily despite me storing my ipad in a laptop sleeve and the scuffs don't come off with cleaning. They are not scuffs caused by my Apple Pencil. I have no idea what they are, but I store my other iPad the same way and have never experienced this. I have another iPad for work and I installed a cheaper matte screen protector from an "off" brand and it has none of these problems. I went with the "nicer" protector for my personal iPad, but I feel like I wasted my money on this and will just have to buy another set of cheaper matte protectors. Can't seem to get any customer support since I've "used" these by installing them. Not a fan of wasting $45 plus the cost of protectors that I know will work. Goes to show that marketing efforts don't always equal quality.

Save $40 and just learn how to write on glass, you’ll be less frustrated
I’m typically the one that my family goes to to put on screen protectors, and this one is less than useless. The materials given to you in the bag are way too small for any iPad except for maybe an iPad mini, now I’m not talking about the actual screen protector I’m talking about the aids, the alcohol wipe, stickers, etc. The material is so flimsy that it increases exceptionally easily which is a major problem when you are putting a screen protector on a large device like a tablet. Typically, for these flexible, screen protectors, one of the best ways that I’ve found to do it is to do everything you can to clean up your device and then start laying it down and you’ll begin to see areas that you’ve missed then you can peel it back slightly and clean those up, namely, dust, and little pieces of debris. However, with this unit, it is so flimsy that it can’t hardly handle doing that without putting a crease into itself at which point now you have a permanent bubble that you cannot get undone. This could be resolved if they gave us a sticker that was actually sized well for the job other brands that I’ve used will provide a large sticker that is almost the size of the entire device so you can pick up all the little dust debris that statics to your electronics very easily and very quickly so you’re not doing a half inch at a time I nearly foot-long device. If these guys bother to include something like that, that would basically solve all installation woes because you’d be able to clean up any debris before more falls on it, but doing half an inch squared at a time is just ridiculous, also get a better alcohol. Wipe these ones left horrible streak, and I had to use my own.Beyond that the actual added grips is not worth 20, or $40 depending on how you think about it. It sure feels more like writing on paper than writing on glass, but it definitely is not the improvement that I was led to believe by all the reviews, and YouTube advertisements if you just want it for a mat finish that I would actually give a full five stars. It does absolutely provide a very good looking matte finish with the benefit of being slightly grittier for using a stylus on.

Favorite screen cover
When I first heard of paper-like screen covers for the iPad, I didn’t realize there was a difference in quality. I bought the first one I saw on Amazon and I loved it. Then I watched some videos from a graphic designer (Teela at Every Tuesday) who insisted the Paperlike brand was the best. She was so insistent on every video that I decided to try it for myself. She’s definitely right. My old screen cover was a little roughy and dulled my Apple Pencil tip. I bought cheap replacement tips and it wore those down really quickly. When I bought this cover, I bought Apple tips and they still look brand new.The only negative is that if I look at my iPad screen from an angle, it looks all scratched up. I through it would drive me crazy but it doesn’t really bother me because if my iPad cover is open, my it’s usually on and you really can’t see it then. I don’t see it at all when it’s on and I’m looking straight on or when watching videos. Something to note for those who might be bothered by it.I’ve also seen a video on YouTube made by a guy who edits video complaining about how his screen resolution isn’t as good with it so I think it’s important to note the primary use of your iPad. If you work in video and you need to see crisp images, this isn’t the screen protector for you. If you write or draw on your iPad more than 50% of the time, you definitely need Paperlike.
