Great deal
I am absolutely impressed for the tank I was looking for. I use it for night relaxation and my cat. Very soothing! Would buy again

Didn’t work
The classroom was disappointed the jellyfish wouldn’t move or the mode on the lights didn’t change. It was a good idea if it would have worked.

Cute, but with some flaws
The media could not be loaded. First, be patient! You have to soak the jellyfish in water for at least an hour before they will "swim." The material absorbs water, the bubbles dissipate and the jellyfish stop floating on the surface eventually (see the second picture). I recommend pre-soaking them in a glass of water overnight. Once they are in the tank, the jets will help get rid of any bubbles inside them, but I also gently squeezed them to get the air out. This info is in the instructions, but they are tiny and hard to read. I was pleased to find 6 jellies in my box instead of just 3!As for the tank itself, I had a really hard time getting the power to come on using the cable. I eventually loaded in some AA batteries and ran it that way for a while and then tried again with the cord. That finally worked. Maybe some water got in the plug? It was odd and frustrating. The pumps are loud - much louder than a similar item we had years ago. This takes away from the illusion of the jellies swimming. The sound is one that some in my family find particularly irritating because it is high-pitched. I also think it is a real design flaw that you CANNOT use the light without the pumps. Once they are fully hydrated, the jellies stay at various levels in the water and are cute even without the pump on. I wish you could turn on the light to see them better!! The jets are bit too powerful for the "rocks." They end up pushed into two piles. Bottom line, I think this would be a fun addition to a noisy classroom, but not great for a nightlight or a quiet space.
