The covers are slightly too big so I had a couple of saggy places where the water pooled but even there never once did anything pass through. I was impressed with the quality when I got the covers out but after all that rain, my estimation has gone even higher! There are pull cords at the bottom and little clicky fasteners so you can attach the corners to the legs of the furniture and there are ventilation flaps so you don't save your furniture from rain only to get nasty condensation building up underneath. As I said, I've not actually been using them for that long and if they fall to bits after the first winter (like an extremely expensive Canadian brand once did) I'll be sure to come back and update this review but so far, I think these covers are brilliant and would most definitely recommend.
