**Q: Will it take 12 ft rods**
A: Sorry have not used it yet but I have a 13ft rod and bought it for this. Sorry I can't be more helpful

A: No, definitely not. For 14ft rods you would really need a 6ft as the absolute minimum with a 7ft+ being better

**Q: Whats the biggest rod you can place on this rest?**
A: its adjustable to fit any but i use 12ft rods

**Q: Will this stand take a 13ft rod**
A: My husband uses a 12ft. Rod. He thinks it just about would hold a 13ft.

Looks OK just about to try, only problem I can think off is that the three legs are not held together lower down. Only at the top, fast delivery .

Set up quite easy in the house, fitted the rod arms and buttcups (you ma need to carry asrew river to tighten the wing nuts) testing on the beach this weekend, time will tellAdditional infoJust got back from a weekend beach fishing, the tripod worked perfectly, it held two rods and positioned on sand.A good purchase

Pros- very cheap, very light, easy to set up and clean.Cons- not very sturdy, not very durable.Good for your first rod rest and to see if you'll stick sea fishing out. Is what it is, cheap but does the job as long as there isn't any wind..... At all.
