Reviews are harsh. *by S***R on April 9, 2025* Very nice fabric for a prom dress. It's VERY hard to find quality satin. This is not the highest grade, nor is it true charmuese satin, but it's much, much nicer than costume satin, definitely good enough for a very nice formal gown. I'd say it's twice as thick as the costume satin at walmart, one side is shiny satin, one side is slightly duller. The blue is exactly as described. I bought the royal or sapphire blue, 10 yards. At first I thought they did not send me the correct amount but they take it off the bolt and crossfold it and send it as a square but once I rolled it all back onto my bolt I was very happy because it's nice and wide. I would say if you are a dressmaker like me, and the struggle has been real to find a good fabric place that doesn't charge an arm and a leg, you can get away with using this just fine.
