I am just a hobbyist, therefore you should check my opinion with someone who is qualified.I installed that PSU in a DVD Player, to replace the failed PSU in that. It works fine, but the DVD Playerr draws less than 1 A at 12V and even less on 15V, so I am not trying to use the new PSU at its limits. When planning a power supply, I always calculate how much power I need, then use a PSU which can give twice the calculated amount. That way I avoid heat problems.Please be very careful when working with the 230 volts AC mains.
