Replaced the crossovers that came with my existing component speakers with these. I immediately noticed improved bass and treble, I think the extra power capacity is the reason.

I bought this to upgrade the front speaker crossovers in my 4Runner. I have a pair of Kenwood PS-709s 6.5 + 1" separates powered with a 100w/ch amp. These speakers only come with a 12dB/oct high-pass filter for the tweeters and nothing for the 6.5" woofers. The phase relationship is weird and the midrange is pronounced. The AudioTek CX2 crossover does a good job of blending the woofer and tweeter of this set of speakers. It corrects the phase shift by having a low pass for the woofer and a high pass for the tweeter. the 3.5KHz crossover point is good for this set of speakers. The midrange is less pronounced and imaging is better. Very good results for $32/pair for the x-overs. Seems very well built. I'll update this review after I have spent more time with the product.

If you have high powered door speaker separates, this is a must have. I add this in addition to the included tweeter x-over. Every genre of music sounds super clean......
