Read this - If your Product needs Service and is under Warranty - NO SERVICE BY THE BRAND
PATHETIC BRAND SUPPORT I am writing this review after chasing the brand and Amazon support for almost 4 months The one star is just for the pathetic service from Bajaj, the product is very good if it works fine without any issues. 5 months before the warranty expired, the air fryer stopped working. And I hope this review helps someone who is chasing for warranty support. 1. Reached out to the brand toll free number, who then assigned this to the local service team. 2. Local service technician visited within 2days and informed the panel needs a replacement and he will update the same to the company. Now starts the hassle, The local service shop says that they don't have a replacement and SINCE I BOUGHT THIS ON AMAZON THEY DONT KNOW what to do next. Contacted the toll free number again since my ticket was marked as closed, AND THEN THERE WAS THIS PING PONG EFFECT between the main center and the local center. THERE is absolutely no collaboration or communication on the ticket. I dropped multiple emails to brand support, and I WAS GETTING A AUTOMATED RESPONSE that my issue is forwarded to local service team, and the local team refuses to help. Multiple calls to the local service team and they blame on me purchasing the product on AMAZON. This went on for a month and I finally turned to AMAZON. Amazon informed that they will raise a brand warranty ticket, for that the main thing that I need is a brand denial letter that says they have refused service. And a good associate mentioned if the brand doesn't respond for more than 72hrs then its considered as a denial of service. And the email chain started again between me and the brand, since for every email I was getting a automated response, I finally asked the brand why are they sending an automated response, and then they stopped responding (mind you, every response from the brand was coming in 3 working days) And finally I uploaded the brand denial email chain, the picture and the invoice for Amazon to process. Now the next hassle, dealing with AMAZON took 2 months of chasing behind multiple associates, each one promising that "They will surely resolve the issue". They initiated the product pickup, I was first told to wait for 4 hours after pickup for refund, then I was told to wait for 10working days, then I was told to wait for 2 more working days and then they promised they would call back checking if I have received a refund (I wonder where that call went?), and then they told me they need to raise it as a old product ticket and I need to wait for 2 more working days. And finally by God's grace the final associate processed the refund, after 4 long months of chasing. So, if you face a brand warranty issue, there is a way out, it just depends on how resilient you are and how much of time and patience you are able to dedicate. I WOULD NOT GO FOR A MARPHY RICHARDS PRODUCT with such pathetic service
