Galvanised Coal Bunker - (250kg Capacity)

it's easy to put together and hold enough for what we need and doesn't take up to much space .

If there were minus star buttons to rate this product by believe you me i would be using them! I ordered this product on the 1st of october the estimate was between the 3rd and 5th and it didn't come until the 10th! When it did finally arrive we got it out of its box and tried to assembly it, the majority of the parts were bent all the screw holes were in the wrong places so much so that you could not re drill them they were so out of line! The instruction leaflet was torn and tattered and the bag the screws came in had a massive hole in it and as soon as i lifted the bag out all the screws fell everywhere. I want everyone to know how awful this product is and that i hope you will listen to me and that you will not purchase it. If i were you i would find a local place that sells plastic coal bunkers and use them, at least you know you can trust a local firm. I can't stress enough about how much i want everyone to know not to buy this coal bunker. As you will know if you have read other peoples comments you will have seen they have said some bad points about this coal bunker. Don't take the chance and hope that the coal bunker you buy from here will be suitable to use because from the ammount of complaints i've seen i wouldn't buy another one to replace the one i've got from here. Also if you are wondering, my coal bunker isn't suitable to use and i'm about to send it back!

Very poor quality and easily distorted due to it's thin gauge. The screw bag was split and half of the nuts and bolts missing so I'll have to go out and get more so as yet unable to use. Seeing how flimsy it was to assemble I have my doubts how durable it will be. Plus side......easy to assemble!

Speed of delivery excellent, packaging could have been better as there was slight damage to edges. Luckly I have a man who was able to rectify the damage. Putting the bin together was a fiddle and the screw holes did not line up so more holes had to be drilled, but once this was done it went together quite quickly. Was surprised at how thin the gauge of metal was considering that I took the dearer of the two bins of this size on offer. I bought this bin knowing that I was going to place it into a wooden box which gives it the stability it needs. A good metal liner for the box. I havn't had a delivery of coal yet but sure it will take the 5 bags.

Easier to put together than i thought it would be from previous reviews. A bit flimsier than i thought it would be but should do the required job for many years to come.

It is just what I needed to replace an old and dilapidated bunker. The measurements were true and it fitted in the allocated space perfectly. Only gripe is that it took me several attempts to fully understand how the panels locked together. Once the instructions were mastered the structure is strong and rigid and ready for the Winter. NOT fit for purpose. Reasonably easy to put together, put a small amount of coal In & took delivery of 3 bags of coal (50kg each). The bunker was unable to hold the coal the sides bellowed & came apart. The bunker was supposed to be able to hold 5 bags of coal but definitely won't. The company did offer to collect & refund or replace but as the bunker already has coal in & we have no where else to store this would be very difficult. A family member has added some extra screws/bolts on each side for me to hopefully strengthen it. Hoping it will now hold. Disappointed though especially for the price paid & it is definitely not strong enough as it comes to hold coal. Would NOT recommend.

Excellent product. Simple to put together. Takes at least five bags of coal.
