Simple and well made
Simple and well made. Worked really well re-seating my Deva kitchen taps, no more drips.

Reasonable tool. Cutters could be a bit sharper.
This is a decent enough tool and will get the job of reseating your tap done OK. It comes with a decent range of plastic threads to fit different tap sizes, these work well enough with a bit of care. There are also three cutters supplied. Perhaps my tap seat was pretty far gone but personally I found they made pretty hard work of restoring my tap seat to good order, more like 30 turns than six. After quite a bit of work and a new washer my tap did not drip so it has done the job. For occasional use this is OK but I'm sure regular users will pay a bit more to get something a little better.

Handy tool, does the job
This was my first attempt at reseating a tap and this tool did the job brilliantly. Easy to use, you just cannot go wrong with this reseater and saves you money on having to get someone in to do it for you. Just take your time and it should do the job.

Excellent Product
Great product. I didn't expect it to include an adapter to fit my 1960s taps, but it could be used on both my bath and wash basin. Very easy to use and very well made. It should last an amateur a lifetime.

It's worth a try.
After several years of changing washers I finally decided that the taps would need relacing or should I try reseating them first. I bit the bullet and watched a You Tube guide and purchased this item, £10.60 with delivery. It arrived quickly. The procedure is straightforward and requires a little effort. I have reseated 4 taps. They are working OK, but I may have to do them again as it requires the taps to be turned off rather hard. That said they are not dripping. I think it is more a case of practise. Like most DIY, one becomes more proficient with the more you do, so 4 isn't many. It is well worth trying, considering the cost of replacement taps or a plumber's costs.

Did the jobs
maybe this will be frowned on but it worked for me. I removed the plastic grip for hand turning and connected to electric drill. It saved a lot of effort and time. I did not use a high speed and allowed a small trickle of water to flow to avoid over heating. Have reseated 3 taps so far 2 of them over 50 years old so am quite happy. The enclosed instruction saying to turn a few times by hand just didn’t do the job.

Works well.
Bought this gadget to remedy drip drip from 5 oldish bathroom taps. Had previously replaced all the washers, but still drip drip ! My advice: just medium hand pressure and a few turns. Remove cutter and check with torch to make sure no pitting or corrosion is left on washer seat- if so re-attach and repeat. A lot cheaper than replacing taps. Did this several months ago, and guess what-no drip drip. Great

Bien, mais les fraises pourraient être plus efficaces. Elles pourraient être des rayons du cercle au lieu d'être des cordes

It did the trick, just as advertised. It's now part of my tool box.
