It's listed as being both 25-mm and 1-inch dia. It can't be both as 25-mm is 0.984252".
While I was expecting the need to turn the stock down to fit a 1-inch bore bearing, it's actually already about 16/1000 under making it unusable as 1-inch shafting if you need it to be a few .001" under 1-inch.While it looks nice, it's not suitable to be used as 1-inch shafting as-is.As I'm now in a time crunch, I'm going to need to shim this up with strip of shim stock around the shaft to .998 inch to fit a 1-inch bore.Since the rotational speed is under 100 RPM, and the vertical downward force is under 3 pounds shimming should be OK.Before I ordered this piece, I looked closely for the actual dimensions but only found it listed as a "1-inch 25mm solid brass rod." I guess the 25mm metric dim. should have been the giveaway.To have avoided confusion, it should have just been listed as 25mm.

Not actually 1 inches diameter
It was actually.985 so it was already under tolerance for the part I was making with it
