A Candid Review of the 1200 Watt Nutribullet Blender
I researched numerous reviews on blenders; some quite expensive and others uber cheap. After a near exhaustive search I settled in on the nutribullet, which seemed to have the best blend of features, quality (as rated by reviewers), and price. If you go through the product reviews on Amazon you will see people love the product, but there is consistent criticism about two things: 1. There is a tendency of liquid to leak from the smoothie cups while blending 2. After a period of use, the extractor (which attaches to the blender base and has the blades) can begin to ooze some of the lubricants I spoke to a few people who own the less expensive nutribullet product (those with the 600 and 900 watt units). They have confirmed the first of these two complaints (tendency of liquid to leak from the smoothie cups while blending) and also indicated that the 600 watt units are not really powerful enough. That said, let me give you the much better news regarding the 1200 watt unit that comes with 64 Oz pitcher and two 24 Oz smoothie cups. I have not experienced the issue of liquid leaking while blending. Unlike the 600 and 900 watt units, all the seals on the various containers that come with the 1200 watt unit are tight. The product in my experience seems to be well made and well designed. I guess because the motor (on the 1200 watt unit) is powerful, it easily whips up smoothies with ice in a matter of seconds. Also, today I made kale soup in the 64 Oz pitcher which it easily turned into a silky smooth puree. Older blenders I have used in the past would blend everything in the bottom of the pitcher, but not any content towards the top. That was frustrating, as it would be necessary to intermittently stop, push undermixed food content down towards the blades and resume. Thankfully, this is not the case here with the nutribullet. It easily blends everything with the large pitcher (and of course with the smoothie cups). Another plus is that it is extremely easy to clean. I want to cycle back to second identified complaint that people have remarked about the extractor component. People have reported that this can be an issue after roughly a year's usage. I have not had the nutribullet long enough to encounter this problem (I purchased the nutribullet earlier this summer). What I can say is that the company - nutribullet, sells the extractor component separately to the tune of around $20. So, if this component wears out it is easily replaced without much expense. A have a few more thoughts I want to add: 1. Experience will vary on how people use the product. The accompanying documentation says when making smoothies never fill the cup above the Max line and don't exceed 25% of the volume with ice. When blending hot liquids like soup, only use the large pitcher with the small opening at the top. Respecting things like that will likely make for a better user experience in the long run. 2. There is a very small price difference between the nutribullet Full-Size Blender Combo 1200W and the 900W Pro (was something like $16 when I purchased the 1200W unit). Actually I was lucky as Amazon had it on sale for $99. [Don't shortchange yourself with the less powerful 600 and 900 watt units - get the better product; I think it is well worth buying. ]

Good addition to the kitchen
We’ve been using our NutriBullet blender regularly, and overall it’s been a really useful addition to our kitchen. It’s powerful enough to blend fruits, vegetables, and ice into smooth, creamy smoothies every time — even with tougher ingredients like frozen fruit or nuts. The compact design is a big plus too; it doesn’t take up much counter space and is easy to store. I also appreciate how simple it is to use — just load it up, twist on the blade, and blend. Cleanup is fast since most parts are easy to rinse or pop in the dishwasher, which makes it great for daily use. The only downsides are that it can be louder than expected, and very thick mixtures sometimes need a little extra blending time. But considering how well it handles smoothies, sauces, and other blends, those are minor quibbles. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable blender that makes healthy eating a lot more convenient. Definitely worth it if you want something that’s powerful but simple to operate.

Amazing Blender , Mom Loves It!
I bought the NutriBullet Full-Size Blender Combo 1200W in Matte Black for my mom as a Christmas gift and she absolutely loves it! This blender is powerful and handles everything we’ve thrown at it — from smoothies and frozen fruits to hot soups and nut butters with ease. The 1200W motor is seriously strong and blends perfectly every time. The matte black finish looks sleek and modern in her kitchen and all the components feel high quality and large in size. It’s easy to use and clean, which she really appreciates. The different blending sizes and accessories make it so versatile for everyday use.Overall, this has been a fantastic purchase and a gift that gets used daily. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable, high-performance blender! 🥤🍲👍

Fantastic blender, but a bit noisy
I love my Nutribullet blender! I wasn't sure what size to order, but I knew I wanted one that could fit all of my fruits and veggies that I put into my smoothies. This blender did not disappoint. It can accommodate a big fruit blend with enough for two giant smoothies! This blender mixes well, even with frozen items. It has great accessories for various needs. The only negative is that it is LOUD! I feel as though I am landing a jet in my kitchen as I blend. Oh well. It blends so quickly that I don't have to endure the noise for very long.

Great for daily smoothies, but struggles with frozen or heavy blends
I bought this 1200W Nutribullet because, even though I already own a few Ninja blenders, I wanted something that could handle my daily smoothies better — especially when using seeds like chia and flax. In that area, I did notice a clear improvement. For regular smoothies (fresh fruit, liquids, soft ingredients), it works really well. It blends chia and flax seeds much finer than my Ninja blenders, which sometimes leave them partially whole. The large cup is convenient, and the accessories make it quick and easy when I’m in a rush. However, when it comes to heavier blends, that’s where I’ve had issues. What I liked: • Blends chia and flax seeds very smoothly (no chunks) • Great for simple smoothies and lighter mixes • Compact design and easy to clean • Single-serve cups are very practical What I didn’t like: • The motor heats up faster than expected • Noticeable “burnt” smell if blending for over a minute • Struggles with frozen ingredients or dense mixtures • Sometimes shuts off, likely due to overheating protection Final thoughts: If you mainly make simple, everyday smoothies, this works great and gives very smooth results. But if you plan to use a lot of ice, frozen fruit, or thick blends, it may not be powerful enough as your only blender. I’ll continue using it for my daily smoothies, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a heavy-duty option.

I am so happy I upgraded to this higher quality blender combo!
Love, love it! I have used other models before including a Ninja and they were noisy. I have been using a 300w single Nutribullet for 8 years. It's still going strong, but I gave it to a friend and purchase this upsize blender combo. My first smoothie was so much faster to turn frozen fresh fruit into a well blended smoothy. The cups, lids and blade quality is so much higher with unit it was worth the extra $40. The ability to create a larger quality is great. I like the setting options. The recipe book is awesome with incredible ideas! I could not be happier.

Powerful, versatile, and great value
This NutriBullet blender is powerful and works extremely well for smoothies, shakes, soups, and more. It blends fruits, vegetables, and even harder ingredients smoothly and quickly. The motor feels strong, and the overall build quality is excellent. I also really like the convenience of having both the single-serve cups and the full-size pitcher. The only small thing I wish were different is that the blades on the large pitcher were removable, which would make cleaning a bit easier. That said, it’s still easy to rinse and maintain with proper care. Overall, this is a fantastic blender that performs exactly as expected. Highly recommended for everyday use.

Received it damaged! NOT WORKING!!
NOT WORKING 😔. I bought it as a gift for my sister, and when I gave it to her the return period was finished! The main station (the engine) started making weird sounds once we turned it on, and started smelling like something burning, then some black powder came out of the bottom of it! I have the same one I’ve bought over a year ago from somewhere else and it’s perfectly working till today, that’s why I thought to buy the same one for my sister, but I regretted it!!!
