Extraction Method This oil is extracted through the pressing of the pulp surrounding the pit of the fruit. This is a virgin oil, so it is unrefined, and it retains much of the wonderful nutrients from the fruit. How to use Spruce up your dishes by adding some Organic Avocado Food Oil to your cuisine. Use in place of olive oil for a milder flavour in salad dressings and garnishes. The unique flavour of avocado oil makes it an excellent choice for creating dips, dressings, mayonnaise and sauces. Drizzle over fish, roasted vegetables, and pasta before serving. All vegetable oils and fats are 100% fat and are generally high in calories (on average about 120 calories per tablespoon). Vegetable oils are often used in food preparation for salad dressings, cooking, frying, baking, sauces and marinades. As a general guide, virgin and unrefined oils have more of the oil’s natural flavour and lend themselves well for use in cold dishes. Refined oils generally have longer shelf lives and may have a higher smoke point and therefore be better for high heat cooking, but this varies depending on the type of oil.

Worst oil ever, rancid taste and plastic container.
This is probably the worst oil of anything I have ever tried. It tastes and smells very bad , not like avacados at all, but really ‘nutty’ and heavy, almost rancid. I have had avacado oil before which was quite pleasant but this is far from it. Plus it’s in a plastic container, not glass. I would rate this one star at best but would give zero stars if I could. Don’t choose this oil and please go for another brand... I’m writing this review because it’s too much hassle to send back via amazon to try claim a refund, please don’t make a mistake and buy this horrible product. (I’m an honest reviewer that is telling it straight up). Thanks

Great flavour, but plastic packaging
Great colour and flavour, works well with all dishes hot or cold. However I took a star off because the packaging is PLASTIC instead of glass like the other competitors. Considering the price I would at least expect the bottle to be glass.
