Epic recipes for an epic game night? YES PLEASE! I have a few "nerdy" cook books and the recipes always feel too complicated and need so many ingredients I'd never use again.These recipes are easy enough to follow, but do include 4 levels for folks with various cooking skills. Start easy (Type Null) or go hard (Type 2/Foodie) but every recipe still feels like something anyone could accomplish.I love when recipes sort out prep time and cook time - and all of these recipes do that. The recipes come in both measurement types, so no asking Alexa how many cups are in a liter.The best part is all these recipes actually make sense for a game night. No one wants to cut a steak while playing Othello or crack lobsters during Settlers of Catan. The recipes include sandwiches, skewers, dips, tarts, sides, and sweets. And each recipe is labelled in the back for if they are gluten free, vegan, or vegetarian, so you can accommodate all your geeky guests.Aesthetically, get the hardcover book because the photos are amazing. Not only does the food make me wanna drool, there's games in the background of ever picture.Time to go make some PvP Tarts!

Particular care is taken with recipes to make sure you can substitute ingredients, for dietary/allergen/preference without compromising the recipe. Perfect for small or large parties, the recipes in here are sure fire winners for any kind of game night from the Super Bowl to the Leage of Legends Championships.My personal favorites are the Pwned Cones (popcorn chicken in waffle cones) and the Spinach Artcihoke Hearts of Darkness (mini phyllo shells filled with sparti dip). There are many simple but delicious recipes in here that can be whipped up in just a few minutes, and you can see the care and attention the author put into these recipes so that with a couple simple tweaks you can make yourself a great meal for one!I can't wait to see what other cookbook's this author has coming. Hopefully soon!

As someone who is NOT by any means a chef, I love this cookbook. My experience sits somewhere around the "I've only partially ruined a HelloFresh meal" level. So the difficulty scaling provided at the beginning is tremendously helpful. With my lack of experience, I would typically see a long recipe and write it off as being too difficult because it's intimidating, but Andy makes it very accessible and easy to follow along.You don't need to be a gamer to enjoy good food. These recipes are versatile for any event and I promise your family, friends, guests, whoever will be impressed. I've had the pleasure of being served by Andy for a full course meal and it was (and still is) one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. He is insanely talented.BUY THE BOOK ALREADY.

I don’t cook. At all. Burnt my kitchen down trying to make a pop tart. But that’s cool. We ball. As a huge gamer, I’m a sucker for a themed cookbook — there are specific game-themed ones that are amazing, but this one is gaming as a whole; as a culture. Tabletop? Gotchu. Pew pew with the pals? Heck yeah. Cozy Switch time with a good snack? Ya betcha.Instructions are super easy to follow, the writing is instructive while also sharing with the reader the chef’s personality. Great buy! For you, for a friend — I mean, it’s mid June now, so with the way time is going lately, Christmas will be here next week, so…Def recommend, trying the cheesesteak bites tonight!

The Paladin Pizza Puffs were a knockout a few weekends ago, tasty and filling. He breaks down the dish making it super easy to make. By all means, Andy has some great recipes but still needs to learn to be a better fighting game player. 10/10 for recipes -1/10 for fighting game skills; he is the sort guy who mains DAN in Streetfighter 6.
