Great book - very helpful
I think this book is a great tool for creative writing of headlines. I set myself a target of 100 and write as many as I can on my own then I get this book out (and also words that sell by a different author). I usually get to about 60 on my own and then this book just helps trigger a fantastic flow of other ideas. I would definitely recommend it if you are writing sales letters whether for post or online.

Not easily Phrased out but...
Not the only book of its type available, but can you have too many sources of inspiration when wring copy? Actually, I find you can, but this one is good. It's very well laid out with different attribute types - beauty, health etc.- and appropriate lists of phrases relevant to each. Makes finding the ideal phrases very easy.

The Ultimate List Perhaps
Firstly get 'Words that Sell' instead. This is just page after page of every day phrases with little thought as to whether they are any good or not. Examples 'If you want to make a particularly good impression' 'Makes quick work of even the toughest jobs'. Neither would ever be used by anyone who know what they are doing and neither apply to this book. Just Don't Ok!!

I've had this for some time, finally getting around to writing a review. Found it very useful for writing marketing emails, when I can't think of the right word, or to get ideas for different words and phrases. Same goes for writing sales copy and lord knows I could use some help in that department. I like how the book is broken down into sections, making it much easier to find what I need. Well worth the price and something I refer to often. Would buy again.
