Novus #2 Plastic Polish Scratch Remover, 237ml

Brilliant product. Good value for what it does. Polishes up well and takes out all minor scratches. I use the no.1 to finish it off

This got the scratches of the perspex windows on my motorhome, took a couple of goes, but did the job.

I bought this to try and reduce the little marks left by a slot cd on the silver side of cds. I read that the more expensive slot cd were no longer are no longer rough on cds but apparently not. I have tried a few products with little or no success but this one at least works well with scratches that are not too deep.It also has other uses which I have not tried out yet.So it is a useful purchase.

Did not remove scratches

I purchased this having done a bit of research and finding this was regularly recommended. I sometimes pick up turntables in auctions and often the Perspex lids are scratched and dull, as part of a refurb, this product really helps restore them, it won't get rid of really deep scratches but massively improves the surface and removes a lot of the minor scratches as well as leaving a nice, slidey sheen finish. Highly recommended and I'm sure it has many other uses!

I purchased this polish to help remove some light scratches on the plastic rear windows of my classic convertible. I also had a crease in the plastic that I had no hope of resolving. However, after one application of this polish, it completely disappeared. The first application did improve the appearance of the light scratches. The second application almost made them disappear but under certain lighting and viewing angles, they can just be seen. I was very satisfied with the results. The attached photo shows the rear window with the right side untouched and left side after it had been polished. A small amount of polish goes a long way so this bottle will last quite a while. Tip: make sure that you give the surface a thorough clean before using this polish.

I bought this to take fine surface scratches out of my eproxy resin, did absolutely nothing! I followed all the instructions and it didn’t alter the scratches in anyway and I’m talking very fine scratches. It never worked for me.

This stuff works great I used it to polish my washing machine door it's a black glossy plastic door the workmen scratched it, it was only surface scratches but it worked perfectly my washing machine door looks like new, I also used it on the chrome on my toaster and on my cooker it it made them gleam so I'm very pleased with my purchase,. I would highly recomend

I've been using this stuff for 20 years for restoration of vintage parts and antiques. Hard plastics, Lexan, plexi-glass, etc. will scratch, dull, yellow, weathered for the elements and sun, and cloud over the years. Plastic looks old, abused, worn out and ugly, and many times the item it covers or is an accessory for may still be in great shape. It ruins the total appearance. Novus can completely restore to a new look. If you want to do it right, you'll need to have all three cleaners. Always start with Novus #1, proceed to #2, them #3, ONLY if the first doesn't give your the best desired results. The reason is that there is a slight increase of the content of compound with each step. Even so if your plastic is scratched badly enough to need #3, it will still come out looking nearly new and all but gouged scratches will be removed and yellowing will virtually disappear, there will just be a very slight decrease in clarity at each increase of product number... and it is SLIGHT, not nearly noticeable enough to offset the positive result... but for the best, crystal clear clarity, you are much better off staring with #1 and working up if necessary. I find #2 to be the most needed and most practical for most situations. #3 is needed when damage from scratching and yellowing is severe... ...you will probably be too stunned by the result to notice a very slight loss of clarity. #3 is for heaviest damage... and if truly heavy enough, you will need more than one application and plenty of elbow grease... but, the result is still so good with #3, you will be trading years of abuse, heavy scratching, scouring, yellowing, and aging.. ...for a smooth, clear result with just a very small bit of a haze... a truly unusable, abused, scratched up, ugly mess, restored to an overall new looking item. From old car / truck headlight covers.... to old record turntable covers that were scratched, weathered, and yellowed from age or tobacco... and all hard plastic parts in general... I've been in the restoration business for over 40 years.... you can try other cleaners and compounds, nothing gets the results that Novus provides...nothing.

Dit product is echt geweldig. Verweerde glazen van auto=koplampen zijn weer als nieuw. De kunststof ramen van de camper waren dof en zijn nu weer helemaal helder.

ho usato questo prodotto per lucidare e togliere piccoli graffi (poco profondi) e opacità da un parabrezza di un aeroplano in Pexiglass con risultati soddisfacenti. Non è a mio parere da usare su materiali tipo lexan che hanno una superficie meno dura . Un buon prodotto.
