There are minimal multi-lingual instructions with the product. When I first tried it, my reaction was like another reviewer's: 'Oh no, it doesn't work, it's useless' and so on. However, I persevered with learning how to start it and then move my wrist in the correct way. It was very useful searching Google and YouTube, for demonstrations and explanations on how to start and use this and other makes of such balls (they are all basically the same). Within an hour or two I had mastered it and it is great fun to use. Once you get the gyroscope turning inside it, the sensation of force it generates is strange but in a pleasant way. The morning after using it, I could feel that my wrists and forearms had had a workout. Exercise equipment that is fun to use is more likely to stay in use than end up abandoned in the back of a cupboard. I liken getting used to this ball to learning how to use a yoyo. You can't get it to work at first but perseverance is the key and then it's great fun.
