I have sprinkled it on top of dry pellets with no issue, as they still get the powder on their tongues when they pick up the food. I have also sprinkled it on fresh fruits/veggies and occasional treats, but never mixed it in water. I am sure that EquaHolistics- the maker of this wonderful product- will answer for you. **Q: Can I use this without a prescription?** A: Yes. this is an over-the-counter supplement.
