It was very well packaged, and arrived in perfect condition.In general the dark green leaves were in really good shape, and they are thick and robust leaves so they seem to ship very well. I set my under a shade tree where it will get morning sun, to slowly acclimate it to our altitude and climate for a couple weeks before I repot it into a large planter.It is very much like the picture for the listing, but I think my tree looks a little better, with darker green leaves.I'm at the southern border by Mexico, but 6 months ago it was below 18ºf for 2 weeks, so no lime tree will survive the winter outside here in the mountains... So the front entry sky-light will have a kaffir lime tree for the winter months, it will be our christmas tree... ;) Oh, and with lemongrass planted in the same pot hopefully... part of my indoor/outdoor flavor garden... I paid the exorbitant shipping rate for expedited delivery because of the summer heat conditions and the fact it was coming from Florida to Colorado. (Also it was a holiday at the end of the week.) Two day shipping. The second day I got a notice it was going to be delayed a week. I requested a refund on the expedited shipping. The second day in the evening I got an update saying it would be delivered the evening of Day 3. It was. It was packed very professionally. It was labeled as FRAGILE. The soil was still slightly damp. Multiple branches with stake support. All the leaves were intact and it was well hydrated. 100% happy with the end result.
