The Amazing World of Gumball Mad Libs Paperback – 4 July 2014

I bought this book as a stocking filler for my daughter's sixth birthday. Gumball is her obsession of the moment, and unfortunately merchandise is somewhat hard to come by.For the uninitiated, Mad Libs is an American 'phrasal template word game'. To you and I, that means filling in the blanks. The book contains a number of short stories with numerous missing words. Based on the instructions below the blanks, it's your job to complete the sentences - you'll be told to either insert a verb, noun or adjective. The tricky thing is, you do this without knowing the content of the rest of the sentence. This means that the results are silly and quite often nonsensical, but they always raise a laugh out of my daughter.I've been happy with the purchase, and it's great for my daughter's age group as she is just starting to look at 'Rainbow Grammar', and this supplements her learning in a fun way without her even realising.

My son loves this book, looks good, kept him quiet for ages, he is obsessed with Gumball so it was great to find a little something Gumball related for his birthday. The book was a little smaller than expected but that doesn't matter.

Bought for daughter for Christmas, she loves it and has had a good giggle with it (as well as testing all us grown ups on our grammar, what's a verb again....?!)

This should have more info about the type of product and some inside photos. This is like a grammar activity book. It's more like homework and not a comic or a fun game book
