Nice and heavy duty for fixing fence, twisting wire use them daily

I had some lineman pliers and then they turned up missing. I ordered these and like them better than the missing ones. Comfortable, sturdy, and have a nice feel in my hand. I have Dupuytren contracture and I've had surgery on both of my hands and have some nerve damage to both hands and these pliers feel pretty good in my hands.

Most of my life I seem to have ended up with reasonably cheap quality tools, and over the past 5 or so years ever since a friend turned me on to having high quality tools and making the job that much easier I've invested solely in higher end tools, or at least ones with some sort of brand recognition that gave me the illusion that I was more competent than I probably am. Without too much detail all my tools are gone and now need to be replaced, so I've been slowly building back based on what I learned from my last purchase cycle. There are specific jobs where I may not be able to assemble the bag full of branded tools I thought I'd prefer, so I'm looking for value rather than labeling.After using these LAND Lineman's Pliers for a couple of weeks, I'd say these fit right into my current quest of value over branding at about half the price or less then I would otherwise pay. They're not elegant, they don't have brand recognition, they're not honed to a fine finish nor made from the hardest materials in the universe (as if nickel chromium steel is not good enough), but from a value perspective these are top notch, particularly after being broken-in for a few uses. Could the handle plastic be more flexible, sure, but I'm usually wearing gloves to no dings there. I've found these absolutely practical and fully meet my needs. So much so that I'll be exploring the long nose pliers and perhaps the cutters from this manufacturer. In a world where there seems to be minimal value purchases left, this one is pretty good.
