I had to return these. they had a very strong musty/chemical smell which irritated my throat and smelt horrible. as I wanted them to make lavender bags to scent drawers etc this made them unusable for me. I don't know if it would have washed out, but couldn't risk making them impossible to return.Update - I have amended my rating for these bags. The seller contacted me to apologise and asked if they could send me any other item to compensate. I appreciated this level of customer care, out of the blue, and said I would be happy to have the bags again and if these also smelled, wash them and see if it helped. The second lot of bags were also extremely smelly. I soaked them over night and washed them through and they were then fine. They are nicely made bags, and the customer service was extremely good. If you don't mind the washing and want the natural look, they are fine. I put lavender in and the lavender smell comes through well.Further update. When I ironed the bags the smell came back, although not as strongly, so I have knocked off a star.

These were perfect for my little project. Did cross stitch on them (forgive the stitching this was my first attempt). The only slightly down side was because I had my hand in & out sewing it frayed a bit but I was able to trim it. I will be buying more! 😊

I purchased these bags to use as gift bags for items I sell on my Etsy store. The texture of the fabric is a little too rough for my liking but otherwise the bags are of very good quality.My order was dispatched the following day and it arrived quickly.My only issue with the bags was that they had a musty smell, so I had to wash them and that caused the length to shrink with approx. 1 cm.

Simple and sturdy!This is a great little product that is the right size and good quality, even with the low price, the only negative I could think of was the twine is a little thin and frail, but otherwise the bags in my view are perfect :)I used the bags to make lavender wardrobe bags and they work a charm!

These little bags make perfect keepsakes for weddings, christenings and funerals. I recently used these to decorate and provide a little something to remember my Nan after her funeral. Everyone commented on how pretty the finished bags were, they are plain and simple to allow you to create something personal and lovely. Each bag was well finished with no dodgy seams or broken cords to tighten them. I will definitely buy these again if I need to.

Brilliant little bags! Will be making pebble ‘tic tac toe’ favours with them and they are just perfect! The drawstring is great too, they seem quite robust.
