Rayovac Batteries ALAA-24F Ultra Pro AA Alkaline Batteries, AA (Pack of 24)

I bought these because we use a lot of batteries and there is a generous amount of these in a pack. They work as good as any other battery and the price is more reasonable.

For decades I swore by Duracell batteries thinking they were thee best. My opinion changed when a battery store employee challenged me to try Rayovac. I accepted that challenge not expecting anything great. Trying the Rayovac turned out to be the right decision. I never went back to Duracell when there was always problems with leaking battery acid. After having used Rayovac batteries for years now, there has only been one (1) leaky battery versus multiple duds by Duracell. That employee was right on--Rayovac IS better.

After replacing several exhausted other brands of AA cells in various devices with these, I found these Rayovac Batteries ALAA-24F Ultra Pro AA Alkalines to have plenty of power, with a good shelf life and long-term power. That's all I can expect. They do their job well at a reasonable cost.

Bought these twice, they've been great, just as good as buying at the store - and if you know Rayovac, you know they're equivalent to the "other two major brands" at a fraction of the cost. BUT, the third time the box had been opened, no way to be sure someone else didn't swap them for used batteries and then return them. Fortunately Amazon is replacing them without having to ship them back, but they shouldn't be sending out opened packages in the first place.

The main reason I decided to buy these AA batteries is because the are packaged in a plastic box so I don't have a difficult time trying to open the package - plus - I have a place to keep the batteries in so they don't scatter all over my drawer. The price was very attractive too. There is no easy way to compare the quality of competing batteries to make an intelligent purchasing decision.

Rayovac #1, Duracell #2, Energizer #3 and anything else is dead last. Rayovac is hard to find in CVS pharmacies and the grocery stores I shop. So, thank you Amazon! I can get my Rayovacs from you.

Strongly built. Lasting product. Strong for everyday use

Good batteries. They don’t last forever, but no batteries do. Good value when bought in the big package. It’s always good to have lots of batteries on hand.

Not much to say except the Rayovac brand of batteries have come a long way over the years. They used to be a battery that was not as long lasting as other brands but that has changed. They are great and yes you can save a few dollars and they last just as long as other top brands.
