It takes a bit of practice to get the marks just right and not smear.

Bought this item for work and it does the job but it’s missing the small level that was shown in the pictures so you can’t get it perfectly straight without that. Other than that it works as intended and lined up the holes where you need them

This will save you a ton of time and works great every time

We were able to hang these up with no issues at all. So much fast than measuring the areas.

This kit functions as it should but I have to admit it took me a while before I felt confident using it properly. I read the instructions several times before I actually went ahead and tried it out. It is helpful to a certain degree but isn't foolproof. I was actually more impressed with the array of hardware that comes with the keyhole markers. There are several different types of picture hangers included and I appreciate the variety. I will use the hardware over time for sure, but I'm not sure I'll continue to use the markers. I think an old fashioned ruler and level does a similarly accurate job.

I love this kit. It makes mounting things so much easier. No more guessing or struggling to try and level between multiple spots--just hook, place the included level on top, and push to mark the wall. It was super easy and quick and it has extra mounting brackets. I would highly recommend this set.

First off, this is a nifty little gadget. It's easy to use and the collection of screws and such it comes with are neat. Especially the special keyhole head screws. However, perhaps I'm too much of a perfectionist, but having to keep your picture frame and inch or so away from the wall makes it difficult to line up properly, and even more difficult to level.Yes, the kit comes with a small level with adhesive tabs to attach to your picture, but even them, for pictures with small frames, it doesn't necessarily stay in place. Also, I try to align the centers of my pictures along a wall, which means the height I need to set each one at is specific to the size of the picture. Having to hold the frame away from the wall makes it more difficult to align the frame properly to the target position.I'm not saying that this tool is useless. On the contrary, it's a very cool idea. I just think you should be aware of the shortcomings of it before you decide to use it for your application. The marks it makes are clear and precise when held properly.
