I have used Skin Chemists products in the past and they are a trusted brand. This is a serum I’d not seen before though. It comes in a glass bottle with a teat pipette top, the serum is a dark orange color and has a very faint scent which is perfectly pleasant but barely noticeable. I was surprised at first at how watery it was as I’m used to serums being much more oily than this or at least thicker in consistency. This is just like water. It absorbs really quickly into my skin and then weirdly from feeling like water, my skin suddenly feels like it’s had something creamy applied and has a lovely moisturised feel that’s very unexpected. I’ll be using this with a day cream on top anyway but will be interested to see what effect it has on the elasticity of my middle-aged skin !!!

Discover the soothing benefits of the Skin Chemists Sensitive Skin Serum, enriched with Dragon's Blood (5%), Centella Asiatica (3%), and Evening Primrose Oil (1%). Designed specifically for sensitive skin, this serum provides calming relief while promoting skin rejuvenation. I've found this serum to be exceptionally gentle yet effective in reducing redness and irritation. The Dragon's Blood extract soothes and protects, while Centella Asiatica and Evening Primrose Oil work together to nourish and restore the skin's natural balance. Whether you're dealing with sensitivity, dryness, or simply want to enhance your skin's resilience, this serum offers a comforting solution that leaves your complexion feeling calm and revitalised.

I'm really not sure how to feel about this. I'd heard about Skin Chemists before and was pretty excited to try out their serums, but this entire experience was ultimately unimpressive. The bottle wasn't full on arrival in a way that doesn't seem intentional, and there were no stains or liquid in the box that would indicate a leak. This makes me question the authenticity of the product I got or whether it might have been used beforehand, but it's also possible that it was just a mishap or a problem with quality control. Either way, this felt strange. I did try the serum. Its scent is pleasant and, personally, I found it so mild as to be almost non-existent. It left my skin feeling a little dry/tight immediately after use, but this might just be a result of the slight exfoliation this is supposed to provide (applying moisturizer afterwards worked fine). The serum was easily absorbed into my skin and I experienced no negative effects. But, all things considered, I can't say I'm likely to use this product again (it's a pity, because I was quite intrigued by the idea of Dragon's Blood).

I recently gave my niece this Skin Chemists Sensitive Skin serum and it's been a revelation for her. After struggling with sensitivity issues from various skincare products, this serum has been a breath of fresh air. In the past four days, she hasn't experienced any irritations, confirming that she's not allergic to it. The serum has an interesting watery texture and a subtle plant-like scent, which isn't overpowering. It has an orangey colour and absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving no stickiness or residue behind. My niece is delighted with the results and I'm equally impressed and happy with my choice. It has certainly provided relief for her hyper-sensitive skin without any adverse reactions and hope it doesn’t get discontinued as it seems to work perfectly, so far. Totally recommended to anyone dealing with skin sensitivities.

The Skin Chemists Serum for Sensitive Skin is like a gentle hug for my skin. I’m really impressed so far. It's made with all-natural stuff and it’s also really effective at helping with the natural collagen production process. I added this serum to my routine, and I use this specifically when I use my RF light treatment machine. It has really elevated my skincare routine into something else. My skin feels even more refreshed and cared for than it was before I started using the serum. It feels like it was made just for use with high-tech skincare tools.
