Very good educational experiment for youngsters. Just a pity that there is only one experiment included, rather than a few to try out. However, it did exactly what it was supposed to and the results are perfect.

Great item and good packaging
Great item and good packaging. Quick delivery. It was a gift, so hopefully it will grow a glow in the dark crystal! My 9-year-old has grown crystals in the past and it has been a very enjoyable process.

Turned out nice!
Bought this for my 6 year old daughter. We used de-ionised water from a car parts shop as we live in a very hard water area. Followed instructions, didn't manage to dissolve all of the powder into the boiling water as was suggested might happen. Daughter enjoyed watching it grow over the next 10 days. Was easy to drain off remaining water and remove from the pint glass. Was a little disappointed the crystals weren't green as advertised - although the seed rock (piece of plaster with textured surface) does glow in the dark. Daughter loves it regardless, she really does treasure it and is very proud of it. I think it looks pretty cool, there isn't much to do in the sense of 'preparation' - Just stir in powder to boiling water which I was a bit cautious of my 6 year old doing.

Apparently commenting on only the delivery isn't allowed. Product matches description and this will hopefully make an ideal xmas present as its whats been asked for. Content of the kit should be lots of fun.

It was not that great. My 6 years old could not do much ...
Chistmas present. It was not that great. My 6 years old could not do much with it cause it involves hot water... plus his dad did it wrong so it got ruined... The product seems like a nice idea though. My daughter would have loved it. Would buy it again.
