WantdoWomen's One-Piece Swimdress Plus Size Swimsuit Tummy Control with Skirt Cover Up

I was really hesitant about buying a swim suit on Amazon, especially as a plus size gal, but it turned out ok. I haven’t worn it in the water yet, so can’t speak to durability (if it falls apart I’ll come back and let you know), but it fits true to size and it is cute. (I was really worried it would be too small and it wasn’t).The only thing that I found disappointing was the amount of chest support. I know it said there was no underwire, but it said there were pads, and I thought the pic really made it look like it kind of pulled the fabric together at the chest to add support. I was disappointed that this wasn’t true. My chest basically sinks down into the pads; there is nothing really supporting the girls or keeping them in place. However, this has been a problem with every bathing suit I’ve ever had, so I’m only knocking off one star from the overall rating as a result of this. The ribbon at the empire waist creates a bit of shape, and the length is good for me. (I’m 5 7” but with very short legs). The skirt isn’t too short or too long and it doesn’t have too much flare, so I’m hoping that means it won’t billow up around me and get in my way like my current swim dress does.I do agree with the comment below about the long torso. I too have a long torso and realized that from a certain angle things under the dress looked, shall we say, prime for a wardrobe malfunction! But I fixed that with a pair of swim shorts underneath for full coverage. I tried on bathing stores in stores that had the same problem, so it’s just a reality that I think I have to live with. But it looks super cute with the shorts! Kind of retro, from the fifties. I was worried the shorts would get in the way, but they didn’t.

The swim suit is pretty, comfortable and fits well but the hem on the skirt is uneven, making one side almost an inch shorter than the other. Thankfully I have access to a serger and can fix this myself, but others may not be so lucky.

I am very impressed with the quality and fitting. It fits tab bit small. I wear 10-12 in tops and 12-14 in lowers so maybe that's the reason it was a tad bit fit but I still wore to pool and my friends kept asking about it. Its swimsuit/dress that you can wear to tropical vacations. Not too much skin shows so you can wear it like a day dress!

I’m 5’5”, 220lbs, wear a 38HHI bought 16-18 and 18-20The 16-18 was more flattering around my body because it was more form fitting and provided better bust support since it wasn’t so loose around the band.However while the band fit fine, the cups themselves were too small so my girls were bubbling and spilling out on the sides and top.The 18-20 had slightly larger cups but was too loose everywhere else, so I lost bust support and it wasn’t as flattering on the rest of my body.

Exactly what I was looking for for my body type and I love the color! Built in swim shorts…can’t wait to wear on my cruise!
