They will flex a little but won't break like a natural slate. I personally have only used them on outbuildings but given the opportunity I would confidently use them on my house roof as once installed are totally maintenance free. **Q: How many packs would I need for a 3m x 3m roof** A: How many 500 x 250 slates are there per square metre?
