Geek & Gorgeous Hydration Station Lightweight Moisturizer 50 ml

Im using tret so like a hydrating moisturiser without any actives. I also have oily/combination skin so I want the moisture without it making my skin oily. Im pleased to say this doesn't make it oily.

This brand is such a hidden gem 💜 I am bedbound a lot (fibro and chronic pain) so I do most of my shopping on Amazon, and I found this when I was searching for a lightweight moisturiser; I love the ingredient Ectoin (my skin really responds well to it) as I am prone to redness, and when I saw it was in this I wanted to try it. I use it whenever my skin is red/sore and find it a great moisturiser to use before my spf :) love it, will def try more products!

Been using this product at night for a week for so and loving it so far. I’ve also used the Purito oat-in calming gel cream moisturiser after seeing both of these products recommended for fungal acne. I would agree with most other reviews that I do prefer this one, the texture is more similar to a cream moisturiser so I find it more moistening, hence why I opt for this one at night. There’s no fragrance or oil, and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin or my seborrheic dermatitis around my eyes. Only dropped a star as I haven’t used long term yet.

i love it, i’m on my second bottle. it’s perfect whenever i use it after a serum with an active in it, and gives 0 irritation and leaves my skin so soft i can’t even explain it. i’d say it’s worth 100% of the money overall

This is super hydrating and very gentle! I swear by this product and have been using it for years now. Although it lasts me all month as a little goes a long way, the bottle is small. Perfect travel size though.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Less than half the price of my usual moisturiser Quality: Very good quality bought several others from their range as well, including retinol have been using Medik8 which is super expensive this range is a 1/5th of the price

This moisturiser is acceptable for general use, but it falls short in key areas, particularly for those with oily skin. Despite being marketed as lightweight, it feels quite heavy upon application. The texture doesn’t absorb easily and leaves a noticeable residue, especially on oil-prone areas like the forehead, where it tends to exacerbate shine and greasiness. Ingredient-wise, it's rather underwhelming. The formula is dominated by glycerin and other basic components, lacking any standout actives or skin-beneficial ingredients that would justify a higher rating or price point. There’s little innovation or targeted care in the formulation. That said, it does have some redeeming qualities. In colder weather, and especially after using tretinoin when the skin is more sensitive and prone to dryness, it performs reasonably well on less oily areas like the cheeks. In those cases, it provides a soothing layer of hydration without causing irritation. Overall, this moisturiser might suit dry or sensitive skin types in specific conditions, but it’s not suitable for oily or combination skin, nor does it live up to its claims of being lightweight.

Me fascina la textura y la hidratación que da! Tengo piel mixta y sensible, y realmente la recomiendo. Es ligera pero muuuy hidratante. Te deja ese glow bonito y ya que se absorbe deja la piel super bonita y nutrida. Dice que es como gel pero es un poquiiiito más pesada que un gel. Aún así me FASCINA y por el precio la verdad que me compraría 10 ! 🤍

This is fantastic for acne prone, fungal acne prone, clog prone and sensitive skin. I think because of the light texture it’s great for oily, combo or combo/dry skin, but I think it would be great for all skin types to be honest. It’s also not too light to where it doesn’t provide enough hydration. I have combo acne prone skin and am on prescription tretinoin. This moisturizer gives me the perfect amount of hydration without breaking me out. My skin is extremely clog prone and it’s VERY hard to find a moisturizer that doesn’t break me out. I found the texture to be a light to medium weight gel-cream. It spreads easily and doesn’t leave me too greasy. It does take a few minutes for it to sink in on me. The price is absolutely fantastic. Their HA serum is also absolutely fantastic. I will def try more products from this brand. The price is right and the products are straightforward and good for my sensitive skin. No irritation at all. No huge long ingredient lists with a ton of BS. If you have extremely dry skin you may need to apply a more generous amount or layer it with a hydrating serum. For me it’s perfect on its own morning and evening. It also doesn’t interfere with my sunscreen or makeup.

Great moisturizer for combination skin. Light texture, good hydration, non-comedogenic and calming. Recommended by my dermatologist and works well for daily use.

Crema idratante perfetta! Fungal acne safe, idratante ma non unta, aiuta la barriera cutanea senza irritare la mia pelle sensibile e tendente alla rosacea. Consigliata per chi vuole una crema soprattutto giornaliera, essendo molto leggera, ottima anche prima del make-up. Importante, però, dire che se si ha la pelle molto secca sarebbe meglio puntare sulla linea più pesante, o accompagnare questa con un buon siero.
