Good product, however could do with being a little longer

The lead is a complete waste of money as it will not convey enough current from a standard TV USB port to the Firestick for it to function properly. Further reading of Amazon's instructions state that attempting to use a USB connector will not work and mains power adaptors are a necessity for proper function. Advertising that these cables are fit for purpose is untrue in my experience.

I found the suggested method of connecting the Firestick, very laborious, and not always successful. When I checked on the Amazon site and found this little gem, I ordered it immediately. What a difference! Fire stick now works perfectly and a load quicker, every time.

Not sure about the necessity for this as the Firestick comes with an adapter and mains lead. I tried this cable, but got a message telling me that the USB port could not provide enough power to support the Firestick. I will try it on a different TV so see if it's just the LG that I tried it on that has a problem. If not, then the mains adapter will do the job instead. Pity as the idea is sound.

Bought a few of these so easy to use well worth the money and then some.
