Does this pen come with converter? IS it possible to be assured of the specific nib..medium soft, medium hard...not medium fine?

This pen does NOT come with converter. You need to buy it separately. The nib does not have medium soft/hard. Only medium fine. Hope these info helps a bit.

Hello, I bought a different color, but mine did not come with a converter. It came with two ink cartridges.

Are these the pro gear slim models or the full size pro gears? Sorry sailor confuses me.

Not sure what you mean by pro gear, but it is a regular size fountain pen as far as I know. I don't own any over $120. It is not thin to me or mini sized like a lilliputian or Kaweco sport. Not that the Kaweco sport is very small once you post the cap. It is my favorite pen.
