I have tall windows. There is a section above the sliding doors that was not covered by the vertical blinds. I used this film to cover these panes. Relatively easy to install, use plenty of water, measure twice, be patient and don't remove the film that covers the adhesive all at once. Maybe it's possible to be precise with the dimension, I tried but there was a very small gap between film and window frame (in the photo: second pane from the left) so I just decided to make the film bigger than window. It worked (mind you, the window frame is dark so it hides the extra film). I think the end result is a somewhat elegant solution. Blocks light at 99%. I would definitely buy this again.

We used this to cover small windows that you can’t buy blinds for. It met my need perfectly when my son installed. The window my husband did looks awful. (Shh!) You need some measuring skills and a steady hand.

I found this product and bought 4 rolls. Installation is really simple once you get the hang of it. I love how it is definitely blackout and you cannot see in during day or night. Looking at the window from the outside during the day, it just seems like you could walk up and look in but you cannot. It is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I highly recommend this product and I will use it again. I hope they come out with a blackout film that has the stained glass appearance from the outside. That would be awesome!

I started working 3PM to midnight as a remote IT help desk analyst. I kept waking up at 6AM - 7 AM because of the sunlight blasting through the windows. Everyone's sleep needs are different. I have a couple of friends who can run on 4 hours of sleep! But me however, I need EIGHT! So when sunshine started raining on my sleep, I bought the HIDBEA Blackout Window Film. I'm so glad that I did. The light isn't 100% blocked but my home has double paned windows (which the seller advises won't block 100% sunlight). So it appears brown but 90-95% of sunlight is still blocked; which gives me my 8 hours of sleep daily now. Thanks HIDBEA!

I purchased this for my daughter’s room to block some of the light that comes in. The directions were more complicated than I expected. Got everything up per the instructions, cut to size and they looked okay. Within 24 hours it had fallen off of the window. Not what I expected and too complicated, in my opinion, for a simple blackout film.
