Birds mostly used it as a perch with no interest in playing it, but it was still cute! Pleasant noise without being too loud. Worked well for our cockatiel, green cheek conure, and goffin cockatoo. Sturdy and sits securely either horizontally or vertically on cages with both 1/4 and 1/2 bar spacing.

Bird loved it!

As a musician I expected this to actually produce tones. It does not. It makes muffled jingle sounds, but it is not constructed like a musical instrument. It’s constructed like a pretty rainbow that looks like an instrument. But it was colorful and my Sun Conure liked walking and chewing on it. It lasted 1 1/2 months before he chewed it up completely. I would caution you not to expect your bird to become a musician. (I was rather disappointed that Mango didn’t play a tune, or make any sounds on it) A more realistic goal would be if your bird likes it enough to chew it to pieces. If you want a jingle—purchase long cylindrical bells that hang from the top of the cage.

Sunny loves the sounds but is still a little scared to get on it to make her own sounds.

This was easy to set up the bird had to check it out before he started to play with it. After a week or so of show him it makes sounds he started to play on his own.

Bought version that attaches to bars on cage. Not enough clearance between 4 of the note keys and the bars. Other notes do not produce a decent sound.

Great product, came on time, fits to any size cage. Their bird loves it.

My budgies love this. It's useless, but I keep the door open on their cage and they use it like a balcony for them to stand on and chat outside their cage. They aren't heavy enough to make sounds in it with their feet unfortunately.

I love this in theory. It's a great size and it works well. My birds don't like it or use it.
