I can't say too many more wonderful things about this book that have not already been written, except that I wish I had half the courage as Anna McNuff had to achieve her goal. The roller-coaster emotions, both positive and negative, she experienced, not only when running alone, but also when so many supporters came out to run with her, were portrayed so eloquently in her words--I felt every one of them. My hat is off to you, Anna, and I hope you continue to live your life in this spirit.

Barefoot Britain was the completion of reading all Anna McNuff’s fabulously witty and down to earth books. I love them all and this one was no exception. As a fellow runner and wanna-be adventurer, Anna has become my hero! Can’t wait for you to write the next one Anna!

Anna’s book takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions, you feel like you’re running on a high when things are going well and you just want one of those trademark hugs when she talks so honestly about how she struggled at times. I had a tear in my eye when she reached the finish line. All in all another great Anna book. My only complaint would be that Anna’s books always make me want to head out for some kind of crazy adventure

I love the book. I joint her on the entire journey. Through all the ups and downs and loved every minute of it.

I love this book! Anna tells the story of her barefoot adventure in an entertaining and inspiring way. I felt as though I was running along side her, feeling the highs and lows of her journey. Highly recommended. An excellent book!
