Great amp but be sure to purchase the right adaptor!
I can only reecho all of the positive reviews of this great little amp: fantastic, authentic and flexible sounds, and very simple to use. However, as many have indicated before, the lack of a readily available or even recommended adaptor is really not good enough (hence the docking of one star)!I sent for a so-called universal adaptor from Amazon, only to find out that it was the wrong polarity, so had to return it. Be sure if you order one that it is a NEGATIVE CENTRE POLARITY, demarcated on the product by the symbols: a + sign in a circle, followed by a black dot in a circle, and finally a minus sign in a circle. This is the one I finally obtained from Amazon that works perfectly:https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07Y8N74DY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

A lot of fun in a small box
Wanted a simple amp I could plug into to practice. The tone on this is actually very good - and is very impressive for it's size. It has an extensive range of rhythms (81) which you can vary in terms of tempo and volume, and it has 5 "FX" types which offer a range of - chorus/delay/reverb . Unfortunately, you can have Rythym or FX, but you can't have both, which is a bit disappointing. It has three amp types - Clean/Crunch/Lead which are easily distinguishable and good sounding. No DC adapter in the box - also a bit disappointing. I bought one separately, which, for the amount of time I end up playing on it, is worth it - for the cost if not the environment. It's the sort of box you don't expect much from, but ends up being so pleasurable that 30 mins becomes a couple of hours without you noticing.

Big personality, small size.
I’ve given this a five star rate across the board given its size and cost. I use it with a Gibson Les Paul and a Hagstrom Select Super Swede. It’s a warm up/practice amp okay! Given that the presence of the amp, response, volume and tone of this amp is outstanding, I use the Vox VA 30 as my main amp, and the mini is a very worthy and flexible (AA batteries or mains via an adaptor) addition for travel, practice, warm up and small spaces. Money well spent a great addition to the 30. Highly recommended.

A Great Piece of Kit
My practice amp supplied with my first electric guitar was disappointing the sound was poor and the range of tones limited the Vox mini amp although small is fantastic the range of sounds is impressive with in built drum rhythms are a great addition .All i need to do is learn to play guitar now lol.

Surprisingly good.
Good value – happy with this. For 2w it sounds surprisingly louad. Good quality effects on it; and I like the fact that you can add distortion to the delay and chorus setting. Only gripe is that you can’t use the guitar effects at the same time as the drum machine, but that’s no real problem as I’m running my guitar into pedals first for FX when at home, so I CAN use the drum machine.

Brilliant for the Price
This is a really neat little amplifier, ideal for practising without disturbing all your neighbours. Some nice additional features and quite a wide tonal range. With the addition of a separate power supply to conserve battery strength your practice sessions will easily give you hours of fun without interruption. Great!

Impressed
I was a bit dissapointed that you can't have drum beats and your chosen sounds, reverb, delay and chorus, it's one or the other. The mini amp is otherwise very good and loud.
