We got our youngest child the Smithsonian Human Body book and wanted to add to the collection with this one as well. The writing is accurate, clear and easy to understand. The charts, diagrams and illustrations are high quality and very engaging. I love all the smaller sidebars and illustrated visuals that keeps our seven year returning to the Smithsonian series for bedtime reading instead of always picking up silly books like Captain Underpants or Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Great for children and adults!

I got 4 of these books for 7 year olds birthday and love them so much I just had to get another 4. Really well put together. Illustrations are great. Really informative and just the right amount to digest easily. Text is clear. Perfect
