These SFP+ modules work as described and are compatible with my Intel X710 NIC which is factory locked to certain modules. Of note, ethtool reports they are linked at 10Gb, even when connected to a slower port (i.e., a 1 or 2.5Gb), so there appears to be some sort of hardware abstraction taking place. They also run too hot to touch, which may be a non-issue. I had concerns about the lifespan of the modules and impact of heat on the hardware with which they're being used, so I decided to return them. As always, Amazon was easy to work with on the RMA request.

These work good but do not report temps within the UniFi network reporting. Fyi

I returned the above product and purchased this product which worked immediately. So, remember that just because a product states it will work with a particular family of products (e.g., all Ubiquiti routers), you will only know for sure after trying. Even though this product is more expensive than my original purchase, I wish I had some way to have known that this is the right product for my needs as my time is worth so much more than the few dollars I thought I would save.

Used between my Ubiquiti Switch and Ubiquiti NAS. Plugged them in and they worked great. Quick delivery. I have not stress tested but working as expected

<< REVIEW UPDATED >> Deducted 1 star After 14 months - one transceiver failed outright, no details or information, just died. Family members were not pleased. Contacted 10Gtek and they were helpful and responsive. After sending a copy of purchase receipt and picture of the failure message from my switch, I sent (at my cost) the defective unit to them. Sent them the tracking number and they sent replacement within 2 days. At the least, they did the right thing and replaced it promptly and professionally. Not happy that this happened and slightly worried about the second unit from original purchase failing. ORIGINAL REVIEW: These adapters were plug-and-play compatible with my Ubiquiti USW-Pro-Max-16-PoE switch (ports 17 & 18). I'm currently using them with a Cloud Gateway Max, connected with 18-inch CAT6 cables. Before buying, I was concerned about running temperatures. After installation, port 17 runs at around 50°C (122°F), and port 18 runs at about 49°C (120°F).
