Review: Brilliant - the grout in my kitchen floor tiles had got very discoloured over the years and I was deciding if I should get them replaced but thought I would give the grout pen a try first,am I glad I did after just one cost the floor looks like new, I am so pleased I have ordered more to do the bathroom and cloakroom, it is so easy to use and goes a long way. I would highly recommend it.
Review: Really impressed. - I must admit, I was very sceptical about how good this would be, but it was either that, or rake out and re-grout. The existing grout (floor tiles) had badly discoloured from its grey, and looked horrible. I'd tried all the usual things, bicarb / white vinegar etc., to no real avail. This done the job perfectly. Like most things, you need to take your time and wipe any excess from the tile (using dry kitchen towel works great - not damp cloth, which will just smear it). Minor niggle is that the applicating nib (bit like a felt tip) would ideally be angled to make it easier to get into corners. I found a way round this by depressing a few times in a washed out yoghurt pot so you get a little liquid forming, and then use an artists paint brush. This allows you to get right into corners. Love this, great product!

**Q: The Grout Pen I received has a dry white tip, is it broken or did I receive the wrong colour?**
A: Tips need to be primed before use, all brand-new Grout Pens have a dry white tip until they are activated.

**Q: The tip of my Grout Pen fell out or is worn down, is my pen broken?**
A: Tips are designed to be removable so when a tip becomes worn or damaged it can be taken out and flipped over. If the tip falls out do not worry, simply put it back in and keep working.

**Q: Do I need to press down hard while moving the pen along the grout lines?**
A: Pressing hard will damage the tip. It's better to prime the pen by pressing up and down until the ink flows to the tip. Once the tip is fully saturated, lightly move the pen across the grout line.

**Q: The colour of the pen cap is not exactly the colour I want**
A: The Grout Pen colour chart is a good representation, please keep in mind that computer screens can display slightly different colour spectrums, it is recommended to do a small test area first if you are not sure about the colour.

Did the job - changed my white grouted floor to grey - easy to use - dark grey colour has a bit of a bluish tinge in bright light but looks good and other feedback indicates that it cures to a true grey with time. So held back one star to see if that happens.
