Well made
Worked as it should, easy to install. Machine started up on my third pull start, been running ever since.

Fits my 1990’s Craftsman 5hp wood chipper/shredder
This carb seems to be high quality and worked as expected. It was an exact replacement to the old carb and started right up after the install was complete. The gaskets that were included weren’t exactly the same, but they did fit and had holes in all the right places. Would buy again, but hopefully I never have to.

A well built carb. Worked like a charm. A little tricky to were I had to install it. But it took the trouble I had to get it in.

Great Replacement For Craftsman 5hp Chipper!
Just what I needed to fix up an old 5hp Crsftsman chipper/shredder The carb is 99% the same. It has a choke spring that is way too stiff so I just cut it off since the original didn't use one anyway Also the threaded hole that mounts the throttle guide us smaller than the original, but I had some smaller hardware on hand. Also the tank to carb gasket holes are just slightly off, not so bad that you can't use it but figured Id mention it. Other than that, everything is great. Got everything put back together and it fired up first pull, no adjustment needed!

Works great!
I had an old generator that needed this carb. Install wasn't too bad. And I'm happy to report that this carburetor is working great so far. Honestly I've used several different types of lower priced carburetors off Amazon and they have all worked fine. Not saying there isn't some duds out there but for the price they work great for my needs.

Fits but required some work
It fit my 90s craftsman tiller motor, however : some of the holes are not tapped for the parts you have to transfer over and one hole was tapped the wrong size. I had to create bottom taps to correct these problems.

Carb install for new life.
So not an official part from Briggs and Stratton but the result was awesome. Worked right out of the box. Had to move controls from old carb to new one but not an issue. Made the od tiller come back to life. Now to tear up som stuff. 😜
