Ample space and quite sturdy. However my guppies managed to get through all the gaps to the fry. And sadly I almost lost a balloon molly as she got trapped between the glass in my tank and the mesh so had to use extended sucker to allow space. Brilliant box for my molly's and platty fish. Despite my troubles this fry box has also served me well and brilliant for the price. ( be sure to check gaps for safety reasons)

The Item is very big and impossible to get the net onto the frame properly. However more distressing was the fact that several of my sons fish died shortly after we submerged the product despite up washing it etc. We can only assume that it was coated with a chemical that has caused an imbalance in the Tank, i would not recommend this product.

the only problem is the baby fish swim back up through the slits and get eaten before she had finished giving birth, so I lost a lot

its a bit awkward to build and the net doesnt fit as on the photo but otherwise ok,you get wjat you pay for
