Ive purchased several torch lighters and they all failed within weeks of first use. This has been goin strong for a few months now and still works like day 1 with almost daily use. Honestly had no expectations given previous experiences but this is a game changer.

Only given this item 4 stars as I have not had it for long but seems good so far.

Ankway Culinary Torch Kitchen Blowtorch Gas Torch Butane Culinary Torch (Butane Not Including)I’ve wanted a mini blowtorch for a while now as they have many uses such as melting solder, heating heat shrink, barbecuing steaks and of course melting sugar on crème brûlées.The torch seemed to be made out of an aluminium alloy with a nice textured plastic grip. The base was nice stable and flat, easily standing the torch upright when placed on a work surface.When using it at first I couldn’t tell how much fluid was in the device and there were no instructions on how to fill it up. So my tip is to turn it upside down with the ignition dial on closed and using a normal butane gas refill canister (using the standard plain nozzle) inject it in 1 second bursts for around 15 seconds. It should fill up pretty quick. Be careful not to start it straight away, give it 5-10 mins for the vapour in the air to evaporate.Operation was very simple you just push the ignition dial in and it turns on (it can lock to always on by turning it whilst it’s pushed in). It gave a good nice hot thin flame like a jet engine that could be controlled with a gas regulator lever.This was my first butane mini torch and I was impressed by it. It was incredibly easy to operate and could be locked to the “on” setting offering a continuous flame. This has many uses and if you’re a hobbyist or a cook I can highly recommended it.I’ve included a short video of the flame and some pics. Thanks for reading my review.

Read a few reviews of different torches in this price range and this one seemed to be well regarded. It is feels solid and produces a good flame which is easy to vary in power using the side slider on the side of the unit. Much quicker browning than my previous cheap torch. It's easy to fire with the large push button and the safety lock button is good for both preventing accidental use but also for locking the flame on if by you need it for an extended period without by having to hold the trigger down. Very pleased so far

Ayant essayé d'autres avant, celui-ci est vraiment le meilleur. La flemme arrive tout de suite sans aucun problème. Je peux allumer le bois ou faire des crèmes brûlées. La seule chose qui manque est qu'il n'y a pas de mini bouteille de gaz fourni avec. Donc il faut penser aussi à acheter du gaz à briquer.

The media could not be loaded. Mi ritengo più che soddisfatto dell’acquisto. Non è il solito giocattolino da cucina. In mano da una buona sensazione dovuta anche dal peso (280gr) ed il funzionamento è perfetto. In accensione non perde un colpo ed ha la possibilità di bloccare la fiamma sia in accensione (per bruciare senza tenere premuto il pulsante) che come sicurezza per i bambini quando è spento (il pulsante rimane bloccato e la torcia non si accende). La regolazione della fiamma è molto sensibile...parte da una fiammellina fioca per arrivare ad un’intensa e lunga fiamma. Si ricarica molto facilmente da sotto utilizzando una bomboletta di gas che si può trovare in tutti i tabaccai. Comodissima da avere in cucina. Promossa a pieni voti
