Browns and crisps perfectly.
It arrived fairly quickly and was dispatched from Ireland via air mail, so I guess that's why the P&P is a bit hefty. It's a very well made and heavy pan and I tried it out this morning.4 large pork sausages on 800w power. It took about 6 mins in total with occasional turning, because they brown at the bottom. They turned out perfect. Nicely browned and not dry. Perfectly cooked and my husband devoured them. So I can say YES! This pan does work as stated. I can imagine it doing bacon perfectly crisp. So glad I bought it, I was nearly put of by the P&P charge, but it's worth every penny.

Currently 3rd time lucky!
I've had 2 of these previously, and they didn't last long; but gives great results. Especially good for cooking in a combination microwave oven. Helps make a great roast, and as a frying pan. One suggestion I do have is, to use a pan liner. My previous 2 corroded quite quickly and bubbled on the bottom, (which touch wood) hasn't happened yet. I don't know if it's down to the liner, or improved design! ....And now not available!

Works a Treat
I use this for Oven Chips & multiple other snacks like Pasties etc. Haven't done a Pizza yet. Should be OK.It just fits on my large Microwave turntable. It's bigger in real-life. Check sizing! Not had it long enough to comment on it's surface longevity, using simple common-sense cleaning and no metal tools to scratch it, it should last a long while.First time I used this recently discovered miracle, I watched very closely for any sparks or weird sounds. I had convinced myself something will go wrong and on high alert. Because my oven is a powerful 1000W.Amazingly, it didn't. No sparks. No sounds except cooking sizzle. Works great.Wish I'd found it sooner!

pizza base crisped up nice not burnt
it does a good job, has to be pre heated so keep the instructions.not tried it with chips but the bsae of a pizza was certainly crispier than without it

Microwave Crisper.
Happy with the microwave crisper.Cooked a pizza & it came out very well but l wouldn't recommend it for cooking chips.I cooked them using the times recommended but they were abit soggy & limp.Added a few more minutes etc etc but not a great result at the final outcome.

too big
This pan is bigger than it looks and amazon should put the size on. It will not fit in smaller microwaves and I have had to return it unused

Its become my favourite oven pan.
I don't use it in the microwave very much but have done on a few occasions. It is so easy to clean and does get things crispy.

Very disappointed
Bought this to replace our ten year or so one that has now seen better days. The first time we used it in our combination oven, the skins from the jacket potatoes left burn marks on the none stick surface. Not really a problem I thought because it will probably get burn marks all over in time but this shouldn't affect it's efficiency. But then the second or third time we used it (again on jacket potatoes) we saw smoke coming from under the browning dish, and after taking it out we saw the under side of the dish (the rubbery base) had cracked and melted. Maybe it gives a warning on the box not to use in a combination oven and to only use a microwave, but we never saw it, and after all our old browning dish (with it's rubbery base) survived ten years without melting. All I can do now is strip the "rubber" off from underneath and stand the dish on a plate. Very disappointed.
