Lovely rich and effective brightening eye cream
This eye cream is fully loaded with rich, effective and powerful ingredients ranging from niacinamide to squalane to peptides to shea butter and hyaluronic acid. This eye cream is full of very good and effectively nourishing and hydrating ingredients. I have been using this cream for over a week now both in the am and pm rotating when I use it based on what I think I need most. This eye cream does have a subtle lovely scent to it that I actually really like. It’s a light weight cream that absorbs really well pretty quickly. When I use this in the morning it doesn’t affect my make up application. when I use this both morning and evening I do find that my eyes do look brighter and more nourished. It also has been helping to nourish and diminish my fine lines. When I use this in the evening my eyes look noticeably more brighter and hydrated.I am very impressed with this eye cream. Especially for the price. I have used a vast range of eye creams and I am pleasantly surprised and happy with this eye cream. As long as you don’t mind fragrance I’m sure you’ll enjoy this rich eye cream. I would absolutely recommend this cream to anyone as anyone could benefit from its use. I also appreciate the year shelf life!!*photo for reference of ingredient list

Hydrating, satiny finish, stronger floral scent than expected, no safety-seal
First, I noticed that there was no safety seal. I was hesitant to use it because the box wasn’t shrink-wrapped, and the eye cream tube itself had no tamper-proof seal. No plastic, foil, tape, or anything. I know this line is eco conscious and the tube is made from mostly recycled materials, but I think even a small piece of sticker tape on the side of the cap to show it hadn’t been tampered with, would have been nice.It does have a stronger fragrance than I expected from an eye cream. I noticed it as soon as I opened the box, before I opened the tube. Very floral smelling, likely the rose and geranium oils contained in the cream. I usually don't like heavy floral scents, but this one was nice and "clean" smelling.Lots of nice ingredients. I was looking for an eye cream with squalene and hyaluronic acid, and this had both. They also advertise that all of their ingredients are rated EWG 1.I tried it on the back of my hand first, it felt satiny to the touch after rubbing it in.I felt a cooling sensation when I put it around my eyes, but that may have just been what a little hydration felt like to my parched skin. It didn’t soak in around my eyes the way it did on the back of my hand the first time. I didn’t get that same satiny finish and it felt a little heavy and tacky. I think I used too much. So, in the mornings, I now use a smaller amount and at night I apply more liberally. Now I get a satiny finish in the mornings as well.So far, so good in terms of hydrating, will update if I start noticing any long-term benefits.

Sorry...
Sorry...I'mo have to disagree. This is so NOT fragrance free. The fragrance was so strong, it was the first thing that hit me.All I could think of was "laundry detergent" or some very strong soap; and not one of my favorites.Since the listing describes this as "fragrance free" I can only assume the strong scent is not intentional but a result of the compounds used in the product. To me, there are skin care basics and a good eye cream is and has been one of them for me for many years. While I don't have dark circles and can't address the efficacy of dark circle reduction this product may or may not provide, I do have some "laugh lines" around the eyes that would be much worse had I not been using eye cream for all these years. This is a thin, but somewhat rich feeling product that is a cream based (not gel based) that is white to slightly off white in color. The "nozzle" on the tube comes to a fine point and the product is dispensed through a very small hole.Dispensing probably less than a 1/4 of a pea size amount was sufficient for both (under) eyes.Several hours after applying, I can still feel the moisture of this product. As I mentioned, I've been using eye cream many years and have a favorite that is the standard by which I judge all other eye creams. It is made by a famous Japanese brand sold here and upscale department stores. It sells for $54.00 for 1/2 ounce. While this may be a nice product, the scent and the slight difference between the price of this one and my old favorite, well, I wouldn't switch brands.3 stars for inaccurate listing and overwhelming scent.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

smells medicinal, but can see difference after 1 application
As someone who doesn't spend a lot on skin product, my initial thought was that this was priced too high. I was able to see results with 1 application. The smell is a little blah to me as it smells medicinal. This is a small tube, but it will last a long time as it just takes a little. Great product, and highly recommend.

Silky, Smoothing Eye Cream
When I try new eye creams, it's always with high hopes and high expectations. I've been using Brighten Me eye cream by Fré for a few weeks now; and while I wouldn't call it a "miracle worker", I've been pretty pleased with the results. This eye cream has a silky texture that glides on smoothly and absorbs quickly, leaving delicate under-eye skin feeling nourished and moisturized, without any oily shine left behind. My eyes look more refreshed, less tired, and less crepe-y, though my fine lines are still visible.Apart from the performance of the eye cream itself, I appreciate that Fré uses clean ingredients and is cruelty-free. The design of the tube allows users to dispense a precise amount of product, avoiding waste. And I like that the expiration date isn't until May 2025, though the small tube will be long finished by then. The only thing that keeps this from being 5 stars for me is the value; it's a great product, but comes in a small tube. If there were more product for the price or if this exceeded expectations instead of meeting them, I'd bump up my rating. But as it stands now, I'd rate this a solid 4 to 4.5 stars.
