I have a 15lb cavapoo and it fit him perfectly. I carried him for many blocks while visiting New Orleans. He was comfortable and so was I. The strap that goes across the back is a MUST! This is superior in style compared to the cheaper ones, and I know because I ordered both kinds and this one is worth every cent!

I love the carrier but there are two issues I have. I measured my dog’ width and length before purchasing; however, the fastener at his chest seems to be right under his throat and worries me it might choke him as he is facing away from me or behind me if he scoots around. Also I have to admit I am not a small girl, pant size 18. The waist strap for me pulled all the way out just barely clicks in place. The rubbing is tolerable for short walks, but don’t expect to spend the day at the state fair. Still, overall, I am glad I got it.

I have a chiweenie he’s about 3 and he’s long. We ordered this in a size L and it’s a little too big for him because he’s skinny. However, it gives him room to move around which i like. It’s very comfortable but if your dog moves a lot you might want to go with a smaller size. I probably should’ve gotten a M so he wouldn’t be able to slip out of it so easily. However, it’s a great product and i really do recommend.

The media could not be loaded. She’s older and can’t hike very long anymore. This allowed her to come along and enjoy the day.

I measured our 17lb dog and ordered the LARGE per the chart measurements. This absolutely does not fit our dog at all. She is choked by the top strap. I had packed it to use on a prolonged hiking trip, which we we not able to use. When we returned I was unable to return due to return close date. I put her in it once and immediately took her out so completely waste of money.

The only thing that is any difficulty is you need a second set of hands to snap the cross buckle on your back when you wear your dog on your front side. Otherwise it’s great and easy to use. My 28lb corgi fits nice and snug.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG! Back clasp comes undone without the full weight of a 19 lb dog in it (higher than even the max weight and he was barely in the holder)…it even comes undone when you’re just holding it and pull it apart, no pressing of sides necessary—VERY DANGEROUS. We even bought a medium and a large and both are like this. Not dramatic, worst online purchase I’ve ever made.
