Review: Ludicrously fast - I purchased this SSD to go into a new Coffee Lake custom built desktop. I read reviews for several brands and decided on this for the best reliability and speed. I am very impressed. Firstly, speed. This thing is fast. I was impressed when I upgraded to a standard SSD a couple years back which ran at around 500 MB/s. This is on another level. I get a consistent 3000MB/s read and 1500MB/s write. I am literally unable to use the speed available in this drive. I opted for the 250GB version so that I could upgrade to a RAID0 configuration down the line if need be, but honestly, I don’t need it. My PC starts up from cold as if it was in sleep. Programs start instantly, even CAD or editing software opens noticeably quicker. It’s insane. Secondly, reliability. I checked the drive for faults when I got it and it was, unsurprisingly, perfectly healthy. The build quality is good too, installation is easy and feels sturdy, and looks much better than most M.2 SSDs. I’m really happy with this product. I’ve had Samsung SSDs in the past and they’ve never let me down. They’re good quality and last a long time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very quick access to programs.A must.

I will be totally honest as this is what reviews are for to help fellow buyers. I have also purchased the Asus Z370 Prime board with the I7 8700 Cpu and 16 gigs of DDR4 Ram. I already have a SSD but decided to check out the M.2 Drive and here are my thoughts. Bootup in 12 seconds from Bios and programs such as Camtasia Video editing opens in seconds with no splash screen. Compared to my SSD this M.2 is very quick as I did a online benchmark and it rated it at 4x quicker than the SSD. I only purchased the 250 Gb due to money restraints but next time I will get the larger one as they do rock. I think they are great for Video processing and photos and faster applications but on gaming I have not tried yet but your processor and Ram and video card come more into play than the drive. Its easy to fit just slots in at an angle then screwed down on your board just make sure your board supports M.2 on the PCI Express bus or it will be no faster than the SSD using Sata. Final thought its worth the extra cash.
